Bio
Aaron joined the firm in September 2018 as an Associate Solicitor, before taking up the role of Associate Director in our Employment Law and Litigation Team in April 2023. Aaron was educated at Omagh CBS before graduating from Queen’s University Belfast with a degree in Law. Aaron completed his legal education in 2016 at Manchester Metropolitan University where obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice.
Aaron secured a Training Contract with a busy litigation firm in Manchester and qualified as a solicitor in England & Wales in September 2018. Aaron then joined McCay Solicitors and was admitted as a solicitor in Northern Ireland in November 2018.
Aaron splits his time between our Employment Department and our Litigation Department and is dual qualified to act in the jurisdiction of Northern Ireland and the jurisdiction of England and Wales. He has acted in a number of Employment Tribunal matters on behalf of both Claimants and Respondents including cases of Unfair Dismissal, Discrimination, Unlawful Deduction from Wages and breach of contract.
Aaron has acted in a number of both civil and commercial litigation matters both in Northern Ireland and in Great Britain. He has acted in matters relating to debt recovery, professional negligence and breach of contract.
Aaron has extensive experience acting in cases of personal injuries including RTAs, accidents at work, industrial disease, holiday sickness and medical negligence.
